Fraternity on the Streets

To welcome, to transform.

The Fraternity on the Streets project works in an expansive way in the creation, maintenance and expansion of several work fronts in the transformation of homeless people in Brazil and the United States.

 

Campo Grande/MS: Unit I of Clínica da Alma serves 350 people. Helping in the free treatment and recovery of drug addicts, who were on the streets.

 

Uberlândia/MG: The construction of Unit II of Clínica da Alma aims to offer reception and free treatment for the recovery of chemical dependents. In addition to training and reinsertion into the labor market.

 

São Paulo/SP: The São Paulo/SP hub offers social rentals for families who were unemployed and homeless during the Covid-19 pandemic. And, also, assistance in professional training, to search for a source of income.

 

Rio de Janeiro/RJ: The implementation of the Reference Shelter Center for homeless people offers screening and individual follow-up. Some of the services offered are: Food, haircut, training, reintegration into the job market, medical, psychological and dental care and much more!

 

New York/USA: The hub offers approximately 250 meals and water once a month.

 

Las Vegas/USA: Offers about 250 meals with water, juice, coffee, and dessert every Sunday. In addition to food, clothes, shoes, sheets, towels, blankets and personal hygiene products are delivered.

 

Denver/USA: Distributes 60 snacks, fruit and water every Sunday.

 

Boston/USA: once a month distributes soup, hot dogs, blankets and warm clothes.

FRATERNITY WITHOUT BORDERS LAUNCH CAMPAIGN FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE PROJECT WHICH WELCOMES HOMELESS PEOPLE

The humanitarian organization Fraternity Without Borders (FWB) will launch next Sunday, September 27th, at 4PM (Brasília time), through social media, the campaign for the expansion of the project Fraternity in the Street, in partnership with the Soul Clinic.

One work center already exists in Campo Grande – Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil – referring to the transformation of homeless people. From now on, the objective is taking the experiences and the support to other states in Brazil, being able to support the existing initiatives as well.

The campaign intend to launch many performance fronts,, being one of them in Rio de Janeiro/RJ.[...]
