Volunteers carry out Christmas Campaign 2021 in favor of refugees in Malawi

The meeting will take place online, on November 20th

Volunteers of the humanitarian organization Fraternity Without Borders (FWB) will hold an online meeting for the Christmas Campaign 2021 on November 20, at 11am (Brasilia time), through the Zoom platform. During the event, coordinated by the sponsor and volunteer Marcos Paganini (resident in Switzerland), the work done by the FWB’s Ubuntu Nation Project for the reception of refugees from the Dzalek Camp, in Malawi, Africa, will be presented.

Since September 2018, the Ubuntu Nation project has aimed to provide a new opportunity for refugees and Malawians in social vulnerability and extreme poverty. Currently, according to the project coordinator, Clarissa Paz, 350 children study at the Ubuntu Nation school and 52 families have a house to live in. In addition to primary and elementary education and the construction of houses, the project offers workshops on work and sustainable food production.

The Christmas Campaign intends to collect donations to contribute to the work already carried out in Malawi by the FWB, especially for the construction of houses, roofing tiles and assistance with food baskets to children and families in need.
